Terms, Conditions & Service Agreement

1. Service Overview

The £99 website package includes design, setup, hosting and domain registration.

2. Payment

Payment is required before the website is published and made live.
A preview will be provided for approval prior to launch.

3. Ownership

The client retains ownership of their content (text, images, logos).
Website structure and code created by Widemonk Websites remain the property of Widemonk Websites, unless otherwise agreed.

4. Domain & Hosting

A domain and hosting service are included for 12 months or multiples thereof where agreed.
Renewal is required prior to expiry to keep the website active.
Domains are registered and managed on behalf of the client.

Domain management can be transerred to the client at any time, subject to a domain release fee. On release, all responsibility for renewals and configuration etc will be the full responsibility of the client.

5. Content & Updates

Fair use content updates are included during the hosting period.

6. Client Responsibility

The client is responsible for ensuring all supplied content is accurate and that they have the rights to use any materials provided.

7. Acceptable Use

Services must not be used for illegal, harmful or abusive activity. Widemonk Websites may reserve the right to refuse to handle material which is illegal, or deemed offensive or controversial.

8. Availability

While reasonable efforts are made to ensure uptime, uninterrupted service cannot be guaranteed.

9. Liability

Liability is limited to the amount paid for the service. We are not responsible for loss of business or data resulting in inaccurate information being displayed or any downtime period.

10. Termination

Services may be cancelled by either party. If renewal is not paid, services including hosting and email may be suspended, and the domain name will not be renewed.

If services are not renewed, the domain name may eventually be released by the registrar and become available for public registration. In such cases, there is no guarantee it can be recovered or re-registered if the client chooses to resume services at a later date.

11. Transferal

On termination, the client may request transfer of their website and associated services to another provider. Transfer will be completed upon settlement of all outstanding fees and payment of any applicable transfer costs.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time without notice. The latest version will apply to all ongoing services and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any updates. It is the client’s responsibility to review the current terms periodically.
